Hi, I’m Robin Lorensen

I became interested in becoming a Virtual Assistant after watching a segment on the Today Show regarding VAs. I applied to AssistU in June of 2007, got accepted for the September 2007 class and here I am!  AssistU has given me the opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted to, become an independent business owner!

 

I live in Golden, CO with my husband of 42 years, Ken.  We love living in Colorado and the extra added benefit is our 2 grandchildren live 5 minutes away.

I have 40+ years of corporate experience working at IBM as an Administrative Assistant. I worked with various levels of management and contributed to a number of diverse teams. I worked the past 5 years remotely with a group in North Carolina and Germany. I believe that these experiences are an asset to my business and my clients.

As an independent business owner I partner with clients to meet their business needs. I work from my home office and use collaborative tools to effectively support my clients. I am a conscientious business woman and everything I do will be done with quality and integrity.

I love working with a variety of people and personalities. I am very good at what I do. When I worked at IBM if someone couldn’t figure something out in the administrative world they would say, “Go see Robin, she’ll figure it out.” I love a challenge and I love the idea of making my clients world less hectic.
